Ancient Egypt

Generation 2: Anouk Natemba

Without their leader, and after a couple of poor harvest seasons due to drought (or something like that), the people of the village started to wonder if perhaps something else was out there for them. Then one day Kota and Anouk received word of a civilization in the north in a land known as Egypt. There, lives a great Pharaoh who leads over a land of gold and honey he's told....

So together, Kota and Anouk move to Egypt where they purchase a lavish house. The rest of the family soon follows and also moves to Egypt, and purchase their own lavish homes.

(Anouk and Kota's Home)

(Mataoka and Atta join them of course!)

So let's introduce you to the Pharaoh of Egypt! The Pharaoh is a man named Amenhotep who is married to the beautiful Ahmose They have a son named Anemenhat, A very confident boy who adores his father.

So back to the Natemba family. Enjoying their new life, Anouk and Kota have a daughter who they name Sarabi. Anouk's cousins have two daughters named Zahara and Malika. The three girls become best friends.

One day while playing near the great pyramid they meet Anemenhat who is tired of being cooped up and wants to be a regular kid! The four become great friends having all sorts of childhood adventures.

Kota gets a job as a carpenter and works jobs around the city. Anouk stays home and takes up gardening. One day she finds a mysterious seed. The seed grows into an even more mysterious plant with the head of a cow. The neighbors revere the cow plant as a god. This of course catches the attention of the Pharaoh who stops by the house to see the plant god. But without warning, the plant god swallows him whole, killing him. His death is sudden and sends shock waves throughout the city, but the person hurt the most is his son Anemenhat who deep rage poisons his heart turning him evil. He is soon sworn in as the new Pharaoh.

But the tragedies don't end there.  One day while visiting the young Pharaoh, Sarabi slips and falls into the pool and drowns. But her family prays to the cow plant god and thanks to mysterious magic she is brought back to life. (and by mysterious magic I mean I forgot to save so instead of restarting the game I re-downloaded her and added her copy back to the family. Her drowning was not supposed to be part of the story...)

(Poor recreation of the drowning, because I forgot to take a photo)

(BUT WAS SHE PUSHED???)

Fun story: Some days the spirit of Sarabi's dead ghost would come to play with the very much alive Sarabi. (There are a lot of plot holes with this, but lets just chalk it up to voodoo magic)

Going back to the main story.... As years go by, Sarabi, Malika and Zahara grow into three very beautiful women.

(Grown up Sarabi)

Also Atta dies.

But don't worry, he comes back from time to time to play cards. (Mataoka dies shortly after)

(I know, I know, they probably didn't play cards in Egypt, but I'm sure they did something)

Sarabi, Malika and Zahara are all close with Emperor Anemenhat, but because Sarabi was brought back to life by the mysterious cow plant god the people urge him to choose her as his bride. He concedes. They marry and have a daughter named Iset.

(The very cute Iset)

But Anemenhat never loved Sarabi and in fact hates the cow plant god and Sarabi's family for bringing it into this world. They begin fighting... a lot... and overtime he starts to resent her more and more.

Anemenhat begins secretly taking both Malika and Zahara as his lovers, bearing children with them. After Malika bears a male heir he takes her into his home and kicks out Sarabi and Iset. He declares his son Anemenhat II the new heir.

Banished from the pyramid and the city center, Sarabi and Iset move into a new house on the edges of town and begin a comfortable life together.

And the cow plant god is sold to a far of land never to be seen again...

...or will it???
